“Shop and Drop!” to help Our House

When you’re at the grocery store this weekend and trying to pick out that perfect box of cereal that the whole family will enjoy, grab two. While you’re at it, grab two of every little thing you can. Inviting Arkansas is sponsoring the Our House shelter program “Shop and Drop!” The Our House shelter helps permanently lift the homeless children and adults in Little Rock off the streets.
The “Shop and Drop!” program is simple: shop for basic toiletries, drop them off at the Our House campus (302 E Roosevelt) Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. or drop them off at Janell Mason’s home at 7 Sunset Circle, Little Rock 72207. Or, if you simply cannot come in, then call Janell at 501-539-0913 and she’ll pick them up for you. It’s that easy. The goal for this program is by Monday to have two carloads of items for the Our House Board meeting.
Here is a suggestion list of items that are needed:
-          Paper Towels
-          Toilet Paper
-          Laundry Detergent
-          Cereal
-          Diapers
-          Deodorant
-          55-gallon trash bags
-          Cleaning supplies like 409, Lysol, liquid dish detergent, etc.
Checks are also appreciated and are tax deductible. They can be made payable to “Our House” and dropped of there or mailed:
