Join in the celebration of giving! Attend the benefit for Haiti

Trying to figure out a way to help the victims of Haiti, but just aren’t sure what to do? A great and easy start would be to attend Relief on the Ridge on Feb. 4 from 6-9 p.m. in the Pleasant Ridge Town Center. The benefit will be a fun-filled evening that will feature three bands, refreshments and a silent auction that will include items donated by businesses in the Pleasant Ridge Town Center, Pleasant Ridge West and from friends and supporters of these businesses.

There are no tickets needed to attend the event. Everything is based on donations and 100 percent of the donations will go to the American Red Cross for the relief in Haiti. Although sending money to the American Red Cross is always helpful, gathering as a community and celebrating the joy of giving to others will pay off more in the end for both you and those in need. Take a break from your busy schedule and after work, head over to the Feb. 4 benefit. The more people that attend, the more donations, so be sure to clear your schedule! By attending this event you will be making a difference in the lives of so many people.
