Five Days of Giving
Hard to believe, but it’s already been five years since the William J. Clinton Presidential Center opened. To celebrate, the center is hosting “Five Days of Giving” from Saturday, Nov. 14, to Wednesday, Nov. 18.
The five-day event is being held to thank all Arkansans for their support of the center. It starts Nov. 14, when admission to the library will be free to the public throughout the day. That day will also be the beginning of the five-day Clinton Center Coat Drive, along with partners Central Arkansas Gastroenterology Clinic, KATV Channel 7 News, Oak Forest Cleaners and the Little Rock Fire Department.
The celebration culminates on the actual fifth anniversary of the dedication of the Clinton Presidential Center. The event will take place on Wednesday, the 18th, with a luncheon on the grounds of the Clinton Center. President Bill Clinton will be the keynote speaker and several other speakers will participate in the program. Seating is limited.
